Payment Alliance International Turns ATMs Into Self-Service Donation Centers

Payment Alliance International (PAI)
has joined the Hurricanes Harvey and Irma relief efforts in the best way they know how…through their network of ATMs and the Digital Donations® charitable contribution program that supports national and local fundraising programs across the U.S.  PAI has a nationwide network of over 75,000 owned or managed standalone retail ATMs located in convenience stores, groceries, restaurants and taverns, bowling alleys, hotels, and much more.  For decades, ATMs have primarily been used for cash withdrawals, but PAI wanted to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey and have enabled the Digital Donations program on its ATMs so cardholders can make donations to the Red Cross in support of this relief effort as well as any future disasters that impact communities.

PAI has also encouraged its Market Partners and direct customers to participate in this philanthropic cause by simply having them update their ATMs to support the Hurricanes Harvey and Irma Digital Donations relief efforts.  Consumers don’t have to make a withdrawal to make a donation to this cause and can use their debit or credit card at each of the participating ATMs in order to do so.

ATMs aren’t just for withdrawals anymore and the Digital Donations program enhances the value of ATMs by allowing consumers to contribute to such essential and worthy causes…all while frequenting various stores and conducting their daily lives.
